Warp 11 Rocks MacWorld
Today in the home of Starfleet, San Francisco, California, America’s favorite sci-fi rock band Warp 11 rocked a packed crowd of over 1,000 at MacWorld 2010. Technology industry icon Leo Laporte hosted MacWorld Live to a packed hall at Moscone Center, with performances by Warp 11, Byrds founder Roger McGuin and a special appearance by Adam Savage of DIscovery Channel’s Mythbusters. “Vulcans in Hell” Gets Rave Reviews
The new album from Warp 11, “I Don’t Want to Go to Heaven, as Long as They Have Vulcans in Hell”, is spawning rave reviews and media coverage faster than a bulkhead filled with tribbles. Since the release of the album, television coverage included CNN/Headline News, CBS-TV / CW-31, and KCRA-TV, and Warp 11 has appeared on-air on over 100 radio stations coast-to-coast.
Recent press coverage included Sci Fi Channel, which said “Best played loud, Vulcans in Hell is hard-driving and muscular.” (Review here). Metalcorefanzine.com raves “one of the best rock n roll bands I have heard in quite some time”.

The editorial staff of the Apple iTunes Music Store, which releases thousands of new tracks weekly, has chosen Warp 11’s “Vulcans in Hell” as one of the few “New and Noteworthy” albums in the Music / Comedy section of the store. All of Warp 11’s albums are now available on iTunes in DRM-free high-quality format.

The May 2009 issue of Geek Monthly magazine says “Warp 11 is a Trek band that has crossed over from fandom to mainstream music.” Captain Karl miller is quoted as saying after the new Star Trek movie is released, “there will be an entire new generation for us to corrupt.”

Warp 11 announced their fifth studio album entitled “I Don’t Want to Go to Heaven, as Long as They Have Vulcans in Hell” will be released Stardate 5.5.2009 across the alpha quadrant.
Warp 11 also announced a special hometown CD release concert on Stardate 5.2.2009 and a headlining performance at the Downtown Sacramento Partnership’s “Concerts in the Park” series on Stardate 5.15.2009.
Warp 11 Captain Karl Miller and Chief Science Officer Kiki Stockhammer will be appearing live on rock radio morning shows coast-to-coast over the next two months, details to be announced on warp11.com when possible.

A sold-out audience packed the legendary Blue Lamp in Warp 11’s hometown of Sacramento, California for a special concert celebrating the release of “Suck My Spock Some More”. Warp 11 performed the entire new album in order to cries of “Spock Me Shock Me Green Bitch Rock Me Go!” from the crowd. Warp 11 continued the marathon performance with fan favorites and new songs from the NEXT as-yet-unnamed Warp 11 album, expected later this fall.

Warp 11 Finishes Forthcoming Album
Today, Warp 11 completed production on their forthcoming album “Suck My Spock Some More”. The album combines remixed and remastered versions of songs from their debut “Suck My Spock” with two newly recorded songs. The album is scheduled to be released quadrant-wide on Stardate 03.01.2008, at a special Warp 11 concert in their hometown Sacramento, California.
