Flashback Friday! “Red-Shirt Skydive”

As I mentioned before, Warp 11 was initially spawned as an idea for a weekly Internet TV show we were doing back in 1999 called the Prime Directive. The show was a half an hour long and the band was created to fill about 4 minutes of said show each week. We also did things like Trek News, Trek Haiku and short skits like the one you’re about to see here. In this episode I lost my command shirt and had to wear a red shirt. Many Red Shirts were killed in the making of this video I can assure you! Enjoy!

Flashback Friday! “Daimon Noc - Ferengi Dentist”

As I mentioned before, Warp 11 was initially spawned as an idea for a weekly Internet TV show we were doing back in 99 called the Prime Directive. The show was a half an hour long and the band was created to fill about 4 minutes of said show each week. We also did things like Trek News, Trek Haiku and spin off Trek pilots like the one you’re about to see here. Like many things on the show it’s a bit too long but hey… Padding!
Please enjoy the adventures of Daimon Noc - Ferengi Dentist!

Flashback Friday! Suds Me Up Sulu “John Felts Mix”

This is one of my favorite Warp 11 performances. The shots were flowing as well as the rampant homoerotic overtones. It’s from a show back in 2004. The song is Suds Me Up Sulu. The special on-stage, birthday guest is my friend John Felts wearing a paper mask of George Takei.
Oh and I’d forgotten my uniform pants at home so I decided to play in my underwear rather than wearing jeans. Make it so and watch the entire thing. It’s worth it. 🙂

Flashback Friday! “The Children of Captain Kirk”

As I mentioned before, Warp 11 was initially spawned as an idea for a weekly Internet TV show we were doing back in 99 called the Prime Directive. The show was a half an hour long and the band was created to fill about 4 minutes of said show each week. We also did things like Trek News, Trek Haiku and Trek Commercials like the one you’re about to see here.
This one is pretty self explanatory. Please, reach deep into your pocket and give today.

Flashback Friday! “The New Cadets on the Block”

As I mentioned before, Warp 11 was initially spawned as an idea for a weekly Internet TV show we were doing back in 99 called the Prime Directive. The show was a half an hour long and the band was created to fill about 4 minutes of said show each week. We also did things like Trek News, Trek Haiku, Trek Commercials and Trek Segments like the one you’re about to see here.
I’m actually pretty proud of this one. It’s a 15 minute piece about a boy bad called the “New Cadets on the Block.” Other than the fact that it looks like we didn’t know what “lights” were at some points, it’s pretty well put together. If you’ve ever wondered what a “boy-band” song written by Warp 11 would sound like, check out the 8 minute mark. Enjoy!

Oh and can you tell I’ve learned how to add custom thumbnails on YouTube videos? Watch that hit counter go!

The Adventures of Captain Wesley Crusher

As I mentioned before, Warp 11 was initially spawned as an idea for a weekly Internet TV show we were doing back in 99 called the Prime Directive. The show was a half an hour long and the band was created to fill about 4 minutes of said show each week. We also did things like Trek news, Trek haiku, Trek commercials and the intros to fake Trek TV shows like the one you’re about to see here. With the benefit of hindsight I would have made it about half the length it is but hey… when you’re filling 30 minutes a week you tend to pad where you can. This song was written by Warp 11. The music was performed by our drunk sound man, David Baxley, because it’s impossible for us (Warp 11) to play music that doesn’t f#@%ing ROCK. Enjoy!

Wesley Crusher Yeah!

In times of need we all need a helping hand
Someone to care someone to love and understand
From the stars so far away he has come
With a smile on his face, that’s brighter than the sun

You know he’s gonna make it better
Wesley crusher yeah
A clean-cut lad in his new sweater
Wesley crusher yeah
He is a friend to you and me
Wesley crusher yeah he’s cheering up the galaxy Wesley crusher yeah

He can fly any ship that was ever made
He’s not like Captain Kirk, he never gets laid
But he can travel anywhere through time and space
With his hair like Bob’s big boy and a smile on his face

Chorus

He’ll save the universe
He’ll never say a curse
He’ll help us see the light today
He’s always so polite
Yeah he won’t scratch or bite
He’s effeminate… But he isn’t gay
